What was common in 1968 and on Mr. Rogers block, that kind and generous question, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” Well, in 2023 that kindness is just not as common. Today, it’s more common for us to say to our neighbors…
“Won’t You Keep Your Distance?”
“Won’t You Stay Off My Lawn?!”
“Won’t You Park in front of your own house?!”

In the Gospels we read what is known as the Great Commandment, and it is this, “Love the lord your god – with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. And second, love your neighbor as yourself.” As Christ followers, we’re commanded to LOVE our neighbors, not push them away. How we can we follow through on this? We don’t need to complicate it… It simply starts with Throwing a Party!
